Crossloop Screen Sharing

The solution to afforadable computer help.

Have a computer guy's computer, come to your computer, over the Internet. That's what Screen Sharing is. Sometimes it is called "Remote Control."

You are on the telephone with a computer professional from a local computer company. He tells you how to download and install the Crossloop Screen Sharing program. Once installed you read a unique set of access numbers to him. Now the computers can connect.

Your computer Helper can now see your screen, move your mouse and type on your keyboard. The Helper can now use your computer as if he was sitting in front of it, right there with you.

  • Check out your PC hardware and software.
  • Do a PC tune-up to get it back up to speed.
  • Install Anit-Virus and Anti-Malware Applications.
  • Run Virus and Malware Scans.
  • Note: Sometimes computers are so compromised by malware, screen sharing isn't practical or even possive. Call 814-683-5645, ask for Tom.

If your computer is running fine you may just want help with how to do a particular task or want training.

Your Helper Can:

  • Show you how to get attachments from your email.
  • Show you how to add attachments to you email.
  • Show you how to stay out of trouble on the Internet.
  • Help you create a presentation in Microsoft Power Point.
  • Suggest and install FREE programs from the Internet, such as Open Office.
  • Learn a specialized application/program ahead of you, come back and show you how to use it.
  • Whatever you can think of you want to do on your computer can be accomplished in this manner.
  • Crossloop Screen Sharing sessions can be done outside of normal business hours.

Crossloop overview and installation movie below will help you to see what I'm talking about. You will see a real screen sharing session, I am screen sharing bewteen my desktop computer and my laptop computer. They are right next to each other for this demonstration but they could just as easly be in the next state.

I would like to stress that the Crossloop Screen Sharing/Remote Control system is safe to have on your computer because:

  • The Access Code numbers are different everytime Crossloop is shut down and restarted.
  • There is a "Permission Screen" that comes up on your screen before sharing can begin. It tells you who wants to connect. If you click "Yes" the connection is made, if you click "No" the connection is not made and the session ends.
  • You can Disconnect at any time during a session.
  • You can leave feedback on the Crossloop Helpers account on the Crossloop website.
  • You can read the feedback others have left, before you decide to let a Helper connect to your computer.
